Located in central SE Portland, Union/Pine is the perfect city wedding venue with a cozy and intimate feeling. The main venue is downstairs and made up of three main areas for you to use on a wedding day. The first room you walk into has a chevron wood accent wall, a giant wall of windows, and a beautifully contrasting white and black wall perfect for any kind of decoration. The second room has a bar and a great space for mingling during cocktail hour. The third room is dark and private, ideal for a candle-lit dinner with your closest family and friends. There is also a gorgeous light-filled loft upstairs perfect for getting ready that you can rent along with the main venue. With the ability to accommodate up to 130 seated guests, Union/Pine is definitely one of my favorite intimate indoor venues in Portland.
Sarah + Cory’s wedding at Union/Pine was a beautiful and intimate gathering. Surrounded by about 30 of their closest family and friends, the whole day was full of raw emotion and love.
The flowers created by Small Yard Flowers were so lush and dreamy! Full of roses and wild blooms, the cloud-like flower installation was truly the star of the ceremony space. For the reception, they choose to do one long table full of candles, bud vases, and draped greenery. This created the perfect intimate dining experience. After dinner, Sarah surprised her new husband with a bright blue Hot Wheels wedding cake and everyone loved it. Then they shared their first dance to Meteor Shower by Owl City. I love how Union/Pine is set up so they could be alone on the dance floor with everyone watching from above. After some dancing, it was time to leave so everyone grabbed flower confetti to throw on the freshly married couple. We still had some time at the end of the day so we headed to the Willamette River to take some sunset photos. We ended the night at the bar where they had their first date.
I love how Sarah and Cory incorporated their personality throughout their entire wedding day! Everything was meaningful to them as a couple and you could feel it all over. Enjoy the photos below from their gorgeous day!
